Beach-O is a genre-blending tribute to the campy, cult classics of our youth. We set out to create a fun film featuring our friends from the indie music scene, stripping the beach party genre down to its musical essence and giving the classic zombie a late '90s, lost generation twist.
Ever wonder what zombies do when they're not gnawing on brains, or why they're always depicted as one-dimensional, flesh-eating monsters? In this tongue-in-cheek exploration we delve into the myriad ways one might become a zombie—whether through a dull marriage, endless parties, mindless consumption, or even dining on someone you just met!
Originally shot in 1998, Beach-O slept in storage for 25 years. In 2024, we finally completed the film in order to thank and honor all our friends who contributed to making it and share the fun we had with the world.
