Erik Nickerson is an accomplished composer, producer, and arranger with over 25 years of experience creating music for feature films, video games, and television commercials. His work has been featured globally on renowned networks including Discovery, Smithsonian Channel, National Geographic, TruTV, Bravo, and Showtime.
In 2018 Erik composed and produced the original score for the independent thriller Beyond the Night. Beyond his contributions to film and television, he has been a producer and mentor for independent recording artists and composers worldwide, offering his expertise through the industry-leading platform SoundBetter.com.
Erik has contributed to multiple Academy Award-nominated tracks and has worked with premier artists and ensembles such as the London Symphony Orchestra and Joshua Bell. While attending Berklee College of Music, he composed his first surf-centric score for the short film Beach-O by filmmakers Karen Lawler and Leah Smith in the late 1990s.
